Learning spaces

Innovation in learning spaces is one of the constants at the SEK Education Group.

Students at SEK-Ciudalcampo enjoy their education in more than 20,000m2 of school buildings along with a large open-air sports complex of over 10,000m2.

SEK-Ciudalcampo has a variety of learning spaces that are a model and an international standard in the use of school space and educational activity.

Open and flexible spaces that engender collaboration and team work between students and teachers.

 

Team Learning (Primary Education) and the Intelligent Classroom (Secondary Education) are open classrooms that promote research, experimentation and the development of social, cooperative working, critical thinking and self-knowledge abilities.

By means of the Fun Learning Space project, students even design their own learning environments.

We enjoy all the facilities necessary to provide a quality education:

  • Applied Science laboratories for Preschool, Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate education (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
  • Library with up-to-date materials, both on paper and in digital form.

SEK-Ciudalcampo students make observations of constellations and deep-space objects: planets, stars, clusters, nebulae and galaxies

From Primary Education (one term) to the 4th year of compulsory secondary education they have astronomy classes within their curriculum, for a single term in primary school and in secondary school the classes are integrated into the science curriculum.

Once a month, observations are made of moons and planets that all members of the educational community can take part in.

MakerSpace is an area of over 300m2 in which students have the opportunity to explore, create, innovate and share their own creations.

In MakerSpace, our students complete projects of personal interest where they develop their creativity in areas related to:

  • Art.
  • Technology.
  • Communication media or design.
  • Social enterprise
  • Any other area that allows them to collaborate through the creation of social networks.

In fact, they can make use of any idea about which they are enthusiastic and which develops their talents.

The learning environments combine virtual spaces that enhance the students’ educational process and extend their horizons.

From Nursery Education to Baccalaureate, the use of digital equipment and platforms extends without limit the learning opportunities available to each student.

SEK-Ciudalcampo has over 25,000m2 of space dedicated to sports:
