DP1 and MY5/4°ESO students participate in the II SEK International Schools Scientific Congress 

DP1 and MY5/4°ESO students from SEK-Ciudalcampo have participated in the II SEK International Schools Scientific Congress presenting research carried out in the laboratory as part of the Biology curriculum. 

The school also participated in the final round table, which had the winner of the Felipe Segovia Scholarship, Claudia S., as moderator, and with Alexia Giuliana P. representing SEK-Ciudalcampo. 

DP1 students Marta B. and Ema G. have presented a machine, created from scratch by them, to measure the metabolic performance of plants. 

In 4°ESO, students Carla H. and Winnie S. presented the improvement to the experiment of isolating DNA from fruits, including new variables such as temperature. 

The II SEK Scientific Congress, organized by SEK International Schools, was held on April 24, 2024, at the UCJC headquarters on Almagro Street in Madrid. 

During the day, SEK International Schools students presented theoretical or experimental works related to fields such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Computer Science, Technology and Engineering. In this call, students gain valuable experience to develop their competency profile and improve their public speaking and expression skills.
