Spring School Experience 2024

SEK-Ciudalcampo celebrated the Spring School Experience day. Throughout the morning, on the theme of Great Explorers, students presented works with different perspectives on discovery.

Additionally, the day had an important charitable component with information and fundraising stands for CESAL or Thalita. This year, as a novelty, the Spanish Red Cross placed a blood donation bus at the school’s entrance.

Moreover, in addition to informing about the Summer Courses, which had their corresponding stand, the school organized the usual Business Fair and the 4th year of ESO students presented their Personal Projects and displayed the panels of the Community Project.

Students and families set up their International Food tables and attended games for the younger ones organized in the Early Childhood Education and Primary Education areas. The Language Department also organized various games and projected films, Language displayed their work, the Science Department dressed up as great scientists, and the Arts Department exhibited works from the Artistic Baccalaureate, ESO, and the extracurricular Painting class.

The day was enlivened with a talent show, led by the Arts Department and the Music team, and concluded with a musical theater performance, the choir’s performance, and a dance by the teachers.

The solidarity fundraisers were a success. At Thalita’s stand, €1,082.92 was raised, which is divided between CESAL and war refugees. In the sales booths run by high school students, a total of €919.55 was collected, also distributed between CESAL and the Por la Sonrisa de un Niño (PSE) NGO. Additionally, at the International Cuisine booths, €999 was raised for PSE.
