Our students, Finalists of the 16th edition of the National Junior Achievement Mini-Company Competition

The students Juan Antonio Monroy, Ignacio Aceitón, Gonzalo Garbayo and Raquel Picazo are Finalists of the 16th Junior Achievement National Mini-Company Competition.

Worried for the rising cost of electricity, the students designed an automation device with Arduino and developed an innovative business model, consisting of the online sale of DIY packs of easy installation to promote efficient energy consumption, in line with SDGs  7 and 11.

It is a fingerprint reader that verifies and turns off the switches, designed for the houses’ parquet which has lower process automation ratios.

During the next three weeks, 15 teams from all over Spain will be meeting in different phases with the judges, made up of executive directors from the main IBEX-35 companies, to compete for the ‘Company of the year 2022’, which would give them the pass to represent Spain in the European Competition next July, in Estonia.
