The Brainfood project in 2nd year of ESO in SEK-Ciudalcampo

A group of SEK-Ciudalcampo students have been participating in the Brainfood project for two years.

Together with the educational innovation expert Stephen Heppell, the school’s medical service, its professors and the Camilo José Cela University, they investigate which foods are the most recommended for improving school performance.

The research seeks to find the food groups that are healthiest for optimize brain activity and learning. For this and after the investigation, they have developed a recipe book, a web page and a YouTube channel in which the result of the work carried out can be consulted.

Throughout the weekend, the students who participate in this project have Training was carried out with professors from the Camilo José Cela University to effectively program the project’s website and to prepare the webinar that will be given to all the schools of the SEK Educational Institution.

In this online session, which will take place next 1 March, will participate in addition to the students, Stephen Heppell and Jen Pro (coordinator of 1st and 2nd of ESO in Ciudalcampo).
