Early Childhood Education students have participated this week in different sensory workshops to develop their perceptual skills and thus collect and internalize information from the world around them.
These workshops are based on perception through their senses, through exposure to stimuli that allow them to build and awaken their sensory capacity and become aware of it. In this way, in addition to adjusting their emotional balance, children’s curiosity is developed and encouraged and identification of the world around them is facilitated.
As teachers, Nursery teachers have made an effort to carry out these workshops in an orderly and coordinated way to make sensory education one of the most important aspects of the curriculum of this educational stage.
Learning through sensory experimentation offers a unique opportunity to enhance students’ cognitive development.
