The students of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education have participated this week in the International Day of Peace that is celebrated every year on September 21 and is called by the United Nations General Assembly. This year, the Secretary General of the UN, António Guterres, has asked the whole world to forget about armed conflicts and focus on the battle against the global pandemic caused by COVID-19. For this reason, and under the motto “Forging peace together”, it has been proposed to spread compassion, kindness and hope in the face of the pandemic and fight against attempts to use this virus to promote discrimination or hatred. The purpose is to forge peace together and fight COVID-19 alone. Our students have participated in the celebration of this day by carrying out different activities, such as designing a vaccine against injustice and social inequality or violence towards the most vulnerable.
